Date : July 21, 2021

This session examines the interconnectedness between early life experiences and later health outcomes in senior citizens. It explores how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) influence the quality of life and the prevalence of chronic health conditions in older adults, shedding light on the long-term impacts of early trauma and stress. The second part of the session shifts to the perspective of healthcare providers on end-of-life care, discussing the challenges and ethical considerations in providing compassionate and quality care to individuals nearing the end of life. Together, these discussions highlight the importance of early interventions and holistic approaches in healthcare for senior citizens.
